SASSA Will Take Solutions to Fernie Local Community

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently traveling to the Fernie 2 Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render providers towards the community.

SASSA are going to be rendering solutions for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In an announcement, the agency claimed it is actually alarmed regarding the large variety of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The aim of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to sassa status check reach-out into a large quantity of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This is certainly due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no totally functional office devoted to service the area daily. The service place designed for intervention experiences a significant influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to empower the servicing of all consumers and maximize use of Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
